About Us
At our federation, our mission is to bring together martial arts styles from every culture and background under one global organisation. We believe in the values of unity, inclusivity, and respect for all martial art traditions, fostering growth, development, and mutual understanding. This world federation serves as a platform to share knowledge, uphold traditions, and champion an interconnected future for martial artists worldwide. Hosting national, regional, continental and international competitions, which include all martial arts, and any martial artist can participate in any martial arts of his or her choice. Our championships include children- 8 years to 13 years, Cadet 1 (14 and 15 years), Cadet 2 (16 and 17 years),5 Juniors (18 to 20 years), Seniors (21 to 40 years), Veterans (41 to 55) and Masters (Over 55). The Martial Arts currently under the UWMAF are:  1. Karate - 3 formats- Shonbu Sanbon, Traditional Bogu and Full Contact of  Kumite and Kata. Kung Fu - Traditional and Taichi, Kobudo - All weapons long and short, from all martial arts disciplines, Kickboxing Light Contact and Full Contact, Jujitsu- Traditional and Sport, Krav Maga, Qwankido, and5 Silumbam. UWMAF is currently represented in 75 countries in 5 continents.

Kaicho Imtiaz Abdulla

President

Kaicho Imtiaz Abdulla was instrumental in getting Karate into the Olympics when he served as President of African Karate from 1995 to 2009. From 2010 to 2014, he took a sabbatical and was focused on creating a United All Martial Arts Federation, which today is the UWMAF. He is a Co-Founder with Sosai Da2ikaku Ch3odin,6, from Japan. Both are martial artists for many years. 8th dan Black belt in Okinawan Goju Ryu and Shito Ryu, and 7th Dan in Okinawan Kobudo as well as GoshinJutsu. Regular trains in Okinawa and Japan, and is still active in teaching and leading his organisation the International Kenbu Kai Karate Kobudo Organization (IKKO)

Shike Giocomo Bertoletti

Sinor Vice President - Technical Ch3airman

Spartaco Bertoletti seasoned martial artist, trained in Japan in the traditional Yoshin Ryu style. He is the International President of the World Jujitsu Federation (WJJF-WJJKO) and is based in the general secretariat in Milan, Italy. He began martial arts training at the age of 12, with Graeco-Roman wrestling and fencing (foil), and later with judo and kendo. In 1960, he practised karate Shukukai, Sankudo and Sankukai He practised Shotokan (yudanshakai) and Shito Ryu. In 1976, with the founding and leadership of the World Jujitsu Federation, he started his long trips in Japan along with Soke Robert Clark. He joined the school Hontai of Saburo Masanori Minaki, 17th Patriarch. In 1997, he received the 8th dan inthe Seshinkai of Osaka. In 2004, Paul Hoglund, President, International Jujitsu Federation, awarded him the 9th dan. His career culminated in Venice in April 2005, in the granting of the 5th Shike title of the school Koden Enshinryu Honmon Enshinryu-Bujutsu, an honorary and dynastic title that only a few Western persons have attained. Bertoletti’s legacy lies in the respectful relationship he has maintained with Japanese jujitsu masters, in the founding and worldwide development of the World Jujitsu Federation (WJJF), and in the thousands of students actively involved in learning and networking. But the biggest contribution to martial arts in all of Europe, is his magazine, which is one of the first in all of Europe, Samurai Sportifio, which caters to all martial arts.. He is the Senior Vice President in UWMAF and Chairman of the Technical Committee. He also contributed for Karate for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo

He is the creator of IUKMF ShtruNashak system and has over 49 years of experience in Hand to Hand Combat, Military Close Quarter Combat Tactics and Specialist Law Enforcement Tactics. Shihan Dirk Klok

Mr. Klok has over 45 years experience in the Martial Arts. Budo is Mr. Klok's life and in his heart, mind and soul. With Budo he work every day. He believes in the harmony, peace, tranquility and respect that Budo brings. He see it as his mission to spread this belief as a teacher in addition to developing everyone's talent. I also believe in developing my own talent and skills and knowledge; Budo as a circle, the pursuit of perfection. Budo was instilled by his father, Jan Klok. His father was one of the first students of Gé Koning Sr (9th Dan Judo and Ju Jitsu, JBN Nederland, Coach/Teacher of Anton Geesink Olympic Champion, student of Michigami, Kawaishi, Koizumi. with four years Dirk's Budo life started with judo. Later Ju Jitsu, Karate, Iaido, Aiki Jitsu, Savate and Boxing. From the age of 4, he also did boxing. His father was a judoka and boxer. He trained with the top of the Netherlands. My father, Gé Koning Sr and Jaap Korzelius were always my teacher. In his working life, he serves as director positions in the financial world. Csongor Kozma

Executive Member Secretray Technical Committee

Csongor Kozma was born on January 25, 1971, and was raised in Davos (Grisons) by1Hungarian parents. After training as an elementary school teacher at the teacher training college in Schiers (Grisons), he studied theology and social, cultural and religious studies in Fribourg, Jerusalem and Bern. He worked for six-and-a-half years in various positions at the Federal Office of Public Health and most recently as deputy secretary general of the National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics. For twelve years he was secretary of the Executive Board and the Foundation Board of the Health Promotion Switzerland foundation, where he was also in charge of human resources management for nine years. During his employment he earned an "Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Leadership and Management" degree from the Bern University of Applied Sciences with a master's thesis in the field of business ethics. Since August 2020 he has been Director of the "Paulus Akademie" in Zurich. Csongor Kozma was one of the first to practice Qwan Ki Do in 1986 in the newly founded Swiss Qwan Ki Do Union in Davos. He is Secretary General of the “World Union of Qwan Ki Do and Sino-vietnamese Martial Arts” and President of the "Fédération Européenne de Qwan Ki Do a – Arts Martiaux Sinovietnamiens." In terms of his competitive achievements, Csongor Kozma has won numerous national and international prizes in the black-belt technical categories, weapons categories and black-belt fighting. He participated in all European and World Championships until the one in Morocco 2011, placing on the podium each time.

Dr. M. Suraess is a medical doctor, visionary entrepreneur, and dedicated politician whose multifaceted contributions span healthcare, community service, and cultural preservation. With an unwavering passion for healthcare, he is the proud Founder and CEO of GY Healthcare Group, one of Malaysia’s leading healthcare organizations with 15 branches of GY Polyclinic. His vision is rooted in providing accessible and high-quality medical services to communities, bridging the gap between healthcare and social welfare. Beyond his role in healthcare, Dr. Suraess actively serves the community through his political involvement with the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), striving to uplift society and create meaningful impact in the lives of Malaysians. His leadership reflects a balance of professional excellence, community dedication, and cultural pride. A passionate advocate of Silambam, the ancient Tamil martial art, Dr. Suraess began his journey in 1996 at SMK Sultan Badlishah under Master Raveendran. His dedication led him to competitive success, securing medals at both state and national levels between 1999 and 2001, and earning his black belt in 2002. His leadership in Silambam has been equally significant—chairing multiple state and national tournaments from 2017 to 2019, leading Malaysian contingents to prestigious international events in Korea and India, and hosting the World Tournament in Kulim, Kedah, in 2019. Dr. Suraess has also played a pivotal role in institutional leadership. He served as Deputy President of the Kedah State Silambam Association in 2007, and as its President from 2009 to 2023. At the national level, he was elected Deputy President of the Malaysia Silambam Association (2017–2023) before assuming his current role as President in 202
